SAP Basis Admin
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Rate: 60. All inclusive
Length: 7 months


Will be responsible for Basis project and ongoing support work. Includes the technical aspect of installing and upgrading SAP and related systems and providing day-to-day technical support. Off-hours, weekend, and holiday work is common. Each person on the team shares on-call responsibility for all of the systems. The person must be able to demonstrate a good technical competence on SAP R/3/BW/APO, and related software products. Thorough knowledge of the SAP transport management system and its tools, both within SAP and at the operating system level is a must. Proficiency in AIX and Windows is a requirement. Skill Set Requirements (Must Have ) Demonstrated proficiency in installing and upgrading SAP systems, especially versions 4.6B, 4.6C, and ECC6. - Must have Basis experience -Full knowledge and proficiency in the SAP Transport Management System. -Excellent technical trouble shooting skills. -Experience and in-depth technical knowledge on Oracle/AIX/Windows. -Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment. -Ability to work in a diverse group setting, being a good team player and willingness to assist others as needed. -Ability to work both as a team member and individually. -Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. -Ability to work on both project and support tasks concurrently. -Ability and willingness to support SAP R/3, APO, BW, and BBP systems, as well as a variety of other related software products, such as Vertex.
Comments    Experience with SAP BusinessObjects in the areas of Installation, upgrade and/or technical support. Knowledge of transporting BusinessObjects objects (Universes, Webi's, Dashboards, etc) across the system landscape and Setup/troubleshooting of authentication issues and Single Sign-on with Windows AD. Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new technologies, accept new challenges, and to work in a continuously changing environment. -Excellent written and oral communication skills are required with ability to articulate complex technical concepts in business terminology. -Ability to produce detailed technical documentation and structured written documents. - Strong analytical capability. Experience with SAP BusinessObjects is a - Installation, upgrade and/or technical support of SAP BusinessObjects system landscapes - Transporting BusinessObjects objects (Universes, Webi's, Dashboards, etc) across the system landscape. - Setup/troubleshooting of authentication issues and Single Sign-on with Windows AD
