Manager's Notes: This team supports the Amdocs billing system.  Experience with Amdocs a must... if they have experience with Convergys and Amdocs conversions, that would be an added bonus.

 

Job Description:

Plans, directs and completes the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Analyze the functional design of automated systems. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing Billing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.

 

Requirements:

Amdocs Ensemble billing system experience preferred - specifically in the areas of Billing and FBF. And/or Prepaid billing system experience.

 

- 6-8 years related work experience

- MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)

- Has experience with & capability to train others on various business process and system modeling tools including: Data Flow Diagrams, Process Models, ER diagrams, Dimensional Data Models, Context Models, Event Modeling, State Modeling, Process decomposition, and Use Case Scenarios

- Understands the system development life cycle and can train others on SDLC concepts

- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments and delegate to others as well as monitor their work for completion

- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications

- Technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliverables

- Experience in logical and physical database design and implementation

- Experience in writing complex SQL queries

- Experience with Oracle

- Familiarity with JAVA helpful

- Ability to provide quality and accurate deliverables

- Ability to recommend appropriate scope of requirements for large efforts

- Ability to understand and apply system/desktop tools

- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments and delegate to other analysts

- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications

- Technical writing skills to produce clear and unambiguous deliverables
