Title : Unix Administrator
Job Type : Contract (W2/C2C)
Location : Minneapolis, MN
Start Date : ASAP
Duration : 6 months

Job Description:

We are looking for consultant with 8-10 years of administration,
support, and design experience with UNIX systems required. Includes
system architecture, troubleshooting, performance tuning, security
hardening, storage configurations, backup and recovery, disaster
recovery, etc.

•Must have strong background with AIX 5.3, 6.1 and core products/
components (VIOS, HACMP, etc)
•Must have extensive knowledge and design experience with virtualized
systems (LPARs, WPARs, VMs, Containers, etc)
•Experience with java development and java design concepts a plus.
•Application development and/or system configuration and deployment
experience also a plus
•Technical knowledge of SAN/NAS infrastructure and systems clustering
a plus
•Knowledge of LAN/WAN network infrastructure, including cabling,
switches, routers and hubs, and acceleration/de-duplication devices a
plus
•Candidates that can speak to a variety of IT skills will be preferred
(Servers, Networking, Security, Database, Web Hosting, etc.)
