Title: Senior Java Developer

Location: Fairfax, VA

Length: 1 Year+

 

Job Description:

 

The Mid-Senior Software Developer will work on a cutting edge Enterprise Investigation Management software on the Groovy platform. The developer will utilize Groovy, Java and SQL technologies to develop and implement the software for various clients in both the federal government and commercial sectors across the United States. He/she will analyze requirements, design, develop, debug, deploy and document software components in a professional services setting.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

*   Bachelor's degree

*   Minimum 7 Years' Experience

*   Experience in Java/J2EE development

*   Experience in XML/XSL

*   Ability to travel 25-50%

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

*   Experience in Groovy is huge +

*   Experience in Ruby on Rails is a +

*   Experience with XML/SOAP

*   Exposure to Linux/Unix

*   Knowledge of Adobe Flash and ActionScript

*   Experience with Apache Tomcat

*   US citizen !
