Position : QA Tester

REQ  (1)

Tester w/OO Programming – Requires great manual testing skills for front-end testing, high caliber SQL skills, Unix commands, XML validation and modification, Java/C++ development experience for writing functional automation scripts.  Selenium is a nice-to-have.  The candidate will support two projects simultaneously.

 

REQ  (2)

Tester w/OO Programming – Requires great testing skills, high caliber SQL skills, XML validation and modification, Java/C++ development experience for writing automation scripts, Unix commands.

 

REQ  (3)

Senior Tester – Requires great testing skills for front-end testing, high caliber SQL skills, Unix commands, and strong QA process experience.  Preferred skills are XML validation/modification and automation development experience (any tool).  The candidate will cross-train on another project.

Technology QC is looking for local resources to join our test team as soon as possible.  

The Tester should have confidence in their knowledge of testing best practices and their own skills to speak their mind and push back when necessary.  They will be working on small, fast-paced project teams within a larger test community.  They should be pro-active and good problem solvers.

 

Requirements

Strong SQL skills

XML, XSD, and XSLT usage in testing data transfers

Testing processes and standard test tools, including version control

Development experience – recently and in an object-oriented language

Unix commands

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Willing to work on-site each day

 

Preferred

At least 6 years of testing experience

At least 2 years of recent automation test development experience, which should be more advanced than using record and playback

Agile/SCRUM software development process

Web Services testing experience

Phone screens (initial and technical) and on-site interviews will be conducted until a suitable candidate is found.
