Position: AIX System Administrator
Location: Montvale, NJ
Client  : Direct
Duration: Long Term Contract


NEED LOCAL ONLY!

Requirement
•    Updating HMC version from 7.7.3 to 7.7.4
•    Managing Tape and TSM backups.
•    AIX upgrade from 5.3 to 6.1 using NIM server
•    Downloading/ Installing OS filesets and fixes
•    LUN mapping on VIO servers per VIO client storage requirement
•    Fixing cron and at jobs as per application and database team's requirements.
•    Writing small ksh scripts to creating number of filesystems and user account using scripts
•    Apply vertex update every month for server running on Fastrack application
•    Working on configuration of new server. (setting up start up and stop scripts,  creating new user accounts, give sudo access for required users,installing GCC/CC as per requirement., setting up resolve.conf and other required files)
