Job Title: Jr. Java Developer

Location: Bloomington, IL

Duration: 1+ year Contract

Rate: $37/HR.

 

Task Description: 

The individual will join the JRA Frameworks Support team as 3rd level support. 

They will be supporting existing JRA Frameworks and tooling as well as the guidance provided to development areas on their use. 

They will also be participating in the development and enablement of the next generation of JRA Frameworks, patterns, and guidance. 

As a 3rd level support analyst these analysts will be expected to participate in incident resolution and problem determination/root cause analysis for events related to the JRA Frameworks.

 

Required Skills needed: 

Java EE development experience: EJB 2 & 3, JDBC, JMS, Spring

J2EE 1.4 and/or JEE 6.0 stack (JDBC, JMS, EJB, JSP/Servlets, JSF etc.)

Web Development experience: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SpringMVC, Struts, JSF

WebSphere 6.1/8.0

Java Web Services: JAX-RPC, JAX-WS, REST

Java EE Design patterns

WebSphere Application Server

HTML5 knowledge a plus

Linux knowledge a plus

Eclipse Plugin development a plus

String problem-solving and analytical skills

SOAP WebServices – JAX-RPC, JAX-WS

Apache Struts

Spring Frameworks (2.5 or later)

HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, cross browser scripting.

Knowledge of DB2, SQL

Maven, Subversion (SVN), Jenkins/Hudson

Knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory

Excellent communication skills, willing to learn new technologies.

 

Nice to have

RestFul services (JAX-RS)
