QA Analyst

Bellevue, WA

7+ months

 

 

Job Description:
Engineer will focus on validation and overall quality of IMS related Products. The Engineer will work with designated product owner in Product Realization group to prepare and execute the validation process for various stages of software development. The Engineer will support the software development partner by deep diving into technology and identifying potential root causes for issues. Application environment include Android, iOS, Windows Mobile as well as Windows Desktop and Web technologies Prepare and maintain test cases and test plans for various stages of software development as well as consolidate reporting for project team File identified defects in defect tracking system and provide technical expertise to track root cause for defects Prepare data requests, coordinate SIM provisioning and identify environment needs for product end to end test Identify areas for automation and define tool requirements to improve overall testing efficiency Work with internal and external partners to identify testing needs for various testing stages Assist Service operations team in post-launch support of deployed products Provide feedback to management and escalation for problem resolution

Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:
Good knowledge of IT/Telecom protocols with a focus on SIP/IMS Basic understanding of Mobile Technology fundamentals Good knowledge on media encapsulation and transport in wireless Hands-on testing experience Good understanding of Android and Windows Mobile software development Experience with packet inspection tools such as Wireshark, Tcpdump. Intermediate skill level in Ms Excel, Ms Access Hands-on experience in testing VoIP solutions having good exposure towards SIP / IMS Experience with Internet Communication Protocols such as SIP, RTP, SRTP, SDP, MSRP, XCAP In-depth knowledge an understanding of IP, IPSec, TLS

Preferred skills:
2 year minimum experience in wireless telecommunications industry preferred

 

 

Software Developer V - Churn & Retention Reporting Support

Bellevue, WA

4 Months

 

Job Description:     Designs and develops internal reporting, or business intelligence infrastructure, as required to deliver new systems functionality supporting corporate business objectives.

- Translate business, and functional requirements into documented technical specifications.
- Utilize development skills to build (code) and unit test new systems functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include code builds and documented unit test results.
- Develop application support documentation as required by the application support teams for acceptance of systems changes into production.
- Build and unit test production deployment packages and implementation plans for scheduled systems enhancements.
- Participate in reviews (walkthroughs) of technical specifications and program code with other members of the technical team, communicating design, requirements,
feature set, functionality and limitations of
systems/applications to team and development lead.
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:     - 7-10 Years Application Development Experience.
- Advanced knowledge of one RDBMS (Oracle or SQL 2000).
- Advanced knowledge of one operating system (Unix or Windows).
- Specific work experience/skills -
1. Leverage customer, financial and churn data to inform decisions and business cases in support of Loyalty initiatives.
2. Responsible for conducting data mining, predictive modeling, applying advanced mathematical and statistical concepts to interpret results and identify correlations and make recommendations based on insights
3. Assists in planning, designing and implementing opportunities for improvement in loyalty and churn initiatives by collaborating with other departments and conducting analytics
4. Track and Report progress of churn initiatives
5. Ad Hoc Analysis
B.S. Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience
Preferred skills:     - Wireless industry experience desirable.
