                        We have an below urgent requirement from our client.


Title        :Senior SharePoint Systems Administrator

Location :Washington, DC

Duration  :7 months



Background:

 

The bank requires the services of a consultant to be the Infrastructure and Application Architect for the Executive Group (EG) SharePoint 2010 Infrastructure.

 

SharePoint Architect will work as part of Team within to support the current and planned information systems, architect SharePoint based solutions, and implement necessary systems to support the Board and Senior Management.

 

 

Scope of Work and Deliverables:

 

·          Maintain and support the existing internal EG SharePoint 2010 Farm and develop and implement a Disaster Recovery position for the same.

·          Maintain and support the EG SharePoint Applications developed and deployed on the EG SharePoint Farm.

·          Oversee and provide advice on recommended SharePoint architecture and system design as the basis for the development of planned and future applications responsive to the identified business and technical requirements, including the architecture for EXC and SECCA Systems.

·          Lead the architecture and the design of the additional components of the Board Meetings "eCenter 2", which will facilitate collaboration between SECPO and its counterparts across the Bank group integrating all relevant work processes, with whom they need to interact in order to fulfill their duties.

·          Provide needed knowledge transfer of the existing EG SharePoint Infrastructure and Application to existing SECTS staff which are part of the EG Infrastructure Team.

·          Mentor SECTS members on the use of SharePoint 2010 developmental tools and on the troubleshooting and support of existing production SharePoint applications and systems.

 

Qualifications:

 

·          Extensive experience (10+ years) designing and implementing information systems and collaborative platforms within government/public/private sector agencies.

·          Ability to understand and document step-by-step complex business process requirements (e.g. document flows).

·          Demonstrated, outstanding analytical skills as applied to the critical evaluation of processes/systems against business objectives, including pro-actively identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification and streamlining, and initiative in seeking out and assessing relevant, external best practices.

·          Ability to map processes and matching system technical requirements completely and accurately.

·          Ability to write/document requirements rapidly with attention to detail and understanding of underlying information and technical architecture.

·          Ability to translate the requirements into applications that are simple, well integrated and that effectively support identified business needs.

·          Excellent ability to conceptualize the big picture of how information systems fit together and are interlinked

·          Demonstrated experience in understanding of Corporate  business processes, comparable to the Bank's Corporate Secretariat,  and ability to translate this into efficient and effective collaborative systems, through SharePoint or other tools.

·          Knowledge of available and alternative technical solutions which would help achieve greater efficiency/effectiveness in Secretariat work and their potential to integrate or replace existing platforms.

·          Proficiency in SharePoint 2010 Architecture, Infrastructure planning, Configuration and Development and Customization. In particular:

o    Solid understanding of SharePoint features, administration, security configuration and design.

o    Hands on experience in Configuring SharePoint 2010 Service applications.

o    Experience in configuring and managing indexing and search in SharePoint 2010.

o    Knowledge of Windows Workflow Foundation 4.

o    Dash boarding using built in features of SharePoint 2010 (Power Pivot, Performance Point).

o    SQL Reporting Services 2008 r2.

o    SharePoint Document Management - Knowledge of document sets

o    Familiarity with InfoPath forms.

o    Experience in developing Features, Web Parts, Work Flows, Content Types, Event Handlers, Timer jobs using SharePoint 2010.

o    Knowledge of additional computer programming languages and environments including XML, Visual Basic, SQL, C++ and J2ME, JavaScript and Ajax.

o    Knowledge and experience with web design tools, web servers and services.

o    Knowledge of the Bank's technical and operational infrastructure and ability to interact effectively with IMT, and other units on policy and technical issues is preferred.

o    Significant knowledge of AvePoint's DocAve 5/6

o    Ability to manage/administer Forefront Security for SharePoint

·          Proven ability to work in a team atmosphere and support and mentor other technical staff.

·          Excellent inter-personal skills.

·          Mature judgment and discretion, especially in dealing with confidential and/or sensitive information and situations.

·          Strong drive, energy and self-motivation.

·          Ability to communicate verbally and in writing complex ideas in simple terms.
