Job Title: L2/L3 Developer

Location: San Jose,California

Duration: 6+Months

Rate: DOE

 

Job Description:

As a member of Software Development organization, the candidate will work on software design and implementation for leading edge high-performance data networking products. Candidate should have following skills & experience:
- 3+ years in similar software development for high end networking solutions based on Ethernet technologies
- Experience in networking protocol software development
- In depth understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 IP networking protocols such as STP, MSTP, LACP, LLDP, OSPF, ISIS, Multicast protocols
- Hands on experience in programming using C/C++ in Linux environments with high end CPUs and Network Processors with very high standards for quality and documentation
- Engineering graduate with more than 3 years of relevant experience
- Engineer will be based out of San Jose and will need to interact directly with customer. Excellent communication skills required.
