Bohemia, NY

1 Year Contract

Rate: $50/Hour Max

Inperson interview.

 

Project

This position is related to a specific project. Client is currently developing a solution whereby all API's used airport peripheral abstraction will be published in Microsoft Azure. Local airport computers will then be able to seamlessly communicate to local printers and scanner using the Azure APIs.

 

Client also has published an infrastructure-as-a-service in Azure. It is comprised of Active Directory domain controllers and Citrix farms.

 

Key Responsibilities

The position will require participation in cross functional teams to execute the following functions:

Design a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment strategy and technical solution. This includes CI/CD for cloud platform-as-a-service and infrastructure-as-a-service.

Trained by off shore partners on their CI/CD solutions and design a migration plan to bring them in SITA's CI/CD.

Execute cloud platform or infrastructure deployments upon request following SITA's promotion flow.

Work with our Test and Development team to evaluate or integrate project components.

Education & Qualifications

University degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science or similar engineering field of study required.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years in participating in Azure or cloud related solutions.

Minimum of 1 year in CI/CD related functions

Experience with Citrix is an advantage

 

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of cloud, Azure and CI/CD concepts

Deployment of infrastructure resources in Azure:

i.    Windows Servers

ii.    Active Directory Domain Controllers

Strong knowledge of CI/CD environments such as GitHub and Puppet. Visual Studio Team Server/VSTS is preferred.

Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting

Knowledge of application publishing using Citrix
