Technical/Functional Skills
• Dimensional Modeling
• Data Integration
• Design and implement ETL procedures for intake of data from both internal and external sources
• Hands-on on Experience in RDBMS based Datawarehouse (Oracle DB required)
• Hands-on on Experience in ETL Tool (IBM Infosphere DataStage preferred)
Roles & Responsibilities
• Understand new application and the interfacing systems with the application, interact with the Clients to understand the Legacy system
• Identify Data Lineage between source applications and existing Datawarehouse
• Perform Data Modeling to integrate additional sources into existing Datawarehouse
• Ensure data consistency and integrity through modeling
• Identify and decommission redundant processes from existing Datawarehouse
• Consolidate and optimize available data warehouse infrastructure
• Performance tuning and optimization
• Perform ETL/Database Code Construction, Development, Testing and Defect Fixing
