Position: Java/Oracle Senior Software Engineer

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 3 months  

 

Locals or who can attend the face to face with own expenses.

 

Key Technical Skills Required –

* Extensive Oracle PL/SQL experience, Oracle SQL and Oracle tuning. * Must be able to perform data growth forecasting by analyzing historical table usage on Oracle database.

* Hands on experience in Java SE/J2EE/JEE development.

* Experience with WebLogic Application Server.

* Experience in working with very large datasets.

* Experience in optimizing code, configurations or the infrastructure to improve scalability of the application/system.

* Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design.

* Knowledge of design patterns.

* Ability to analyze data and create solid forecasts based on the results of the analysis.

* Linux shell scripting experience.

 

Description of Duties: -

* Monitor daily operations of existing java process for loading data load from files into the database.

* In case of any issues debug the problem and pursue the resolution of that problem.

* Analyze the Oracle database and create database usage forecasting models.
