Lead developer to enhance and provide 3rd level support to our in-house capacity management portal and reporting system.
Minimum 5 years experience with .Net web development
3 years experience Powershell programming
In depth knowledge of VMWare metrics collection APIs
3 years experience developing SQL based applications, Familiar with relational table structures and writing stored procedures.
Control-M batch management application
Experience in development of web services.
Meet with stakeholders for the application to gather functional requirements for enhancements. Work with departmental manager to accept/reject and prioritize requirements for implementation. Develop a work plan and schedule to implement requirements.
Here is an example of typical enhancements:
Graphs enhancements Include date/time on graph points, Add support for multi metrics, add support for selectable metrics.
VM Dashboard changes to use the latest data collected by Powershell
Help page enhancements
Monthly Reports for DBAs.
Ad-hoc report( Daily/Weekly/Monthly) generation facilities for DBA/ SA
Graphical View integration
Provide 3rd level support for production team on issues related to the loading of metrics from other upstream systems
