Role: Systems Engineer

Location: LA, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: $38/hr Corp to Corp

Multiple positions

 

Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
• Four to six years of related professional information technology experience in a system engineer or equivalent role, preferably in a financial setting.
• Strong Windows experience; fundamentals + troubleshooting (workstation OS (XP, Windows 7), servers (2003, 2008), AD, domains, users, group policy) -- MCSE is a plus.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (Citrix/VMware/Hyper V) – VCP a plus
• Experience with working in an  enterprise environment (SAN, scripting, GPO)
• Strong IT background, strong networking fundamentals and troubleshooting skills are required
• Strong customer skills and Team Player
• Solid Organization and time management skills
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Solid administrative skills + excellent oral and written skills
• Mechanical/Electronic ability to follow any manual instructions to replace any hardware components 

 

Optional Experience and Skills:

• Citrix Zenapp 5.0
• Sharepoint 2007/2010
• Microsoft SQL 2005/2008
• Microsoft Clustering
• Microsoft Office Communicator
• Microsoft System Center Operations Manager
• Strong Active Directory scripting experience
