Job role: Senior Linux System Admin with Cloud Applications
Location of Job posting: Cupertino, CA
Duration : Minimum 9 months project
Start date : Immediate


Job Description:

1. Linux Admin Candidate will be responsible for day to day management of Cloud Lab Infrastructure in Apple. Should be able to co-ordinate with IS Operations team and Cloud Architecture core team.
2. Development of Cloud applications for a major IT vendor.
3. 5+ Years of working experience with Linux Systems and Networks
4. Experience configuring and building Linux kernel and distribution
5. Experience in configuring Linux Services like Apache Web Server, PHP, MySQL, NIS, NFS, Sendmail, DHCP, DNS, IPTables, Snort
6. Experience working with CLI
7. Experience in configuring Linux Servers with SAN, NAS and Software RAID
8. Experience with Linux Clusters
9. Exposure to Linux Virtualization technologies like VMware, Xen & KVM Familiarity with Cisco CatOS & IOS
10. Good Knowledge of Shell Scripting, Perl, awk and sed
11. Good Communication, analytical and problem solving skills
    
12. Having H1B is a must
