I have a three month contract with a client of mine in Virginia Beach, VA who is looking for an Informatica Developer. The hiring manager will hire off of a phone screen. I need someone who has a strong Healthcare and Facets background with most importantly good communication. The hiring manager is looking to fill this position quickly.
Overview:
The project is to automate fee schedule updates from various states in various formats (excel, pdf, csv) to tables in Facets. Proficiency with Informatica, ETL best practices, and knowledge of Facets & Facets data/table structure are required. Project is scheduled as a 3 month project with possibility of extension.
Qualifications:
Specific Technical Skills
· High level of understanding and experience with all data modeling concepts and practices, database design, ETL processing, database performance and optimization. Extremely high level of handling software development issues related to databases for relational, object-oriented, and other database and software technologies. Experience with multiple database technologies and products.
· Extremely high level of understanding and development experience with Informatica Power Center.
· Preference for candidates with at least one year experience in working with one of the following:
Informatica B2B Data Transformations (formerly Complex Data Exchange)
Informatica Data Quality
· Strong SQL, PL SQL skills; experience with MS SQLServer 2005 or 2008
· Experience with Facets and understanding of table structure to help automate data uploads into this system.
· Demonstrates advanced proficiency with all applicable company supported software applications.
· Demonstrates knowledge of the strategic alignment of IT solutions with business objectives.
· Demonstrates thought leadership in a development discipline or toolset.
· Able to identify root causes of problems. Demonstrates the ability to develop and implement solutions for the causes identified.
· Able to develop and manage a project.
· Demonstrates a moderate to comprehensive understanding of supported applications and all interdependencies (OS, network, server, workstations, etc).
Other:
· Able to present information verbally, and in writing, in a concise and effective manner at all levels within the organization.
· Able to create and deliver presentations tailored to an audience.
· Able to develop creative strategies to problems.
· Able to manage customer expectations.
· Demonstrates knowledge of the inter-relationship among various managed care operational areas.
· Demonstrates understanding of how each department/health plan relates to the organization as a whole.
