Job Title: Java UI Developer
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 12-18 Months

Position Description:
Experience Level: 8 or more years technical background and 6+ years directly related web experience. Description: Acts as the highest-level technical expert on the development and implementation of highly complex, large-scale internet and intranet applications on diverse platforms, crossing multiple business lines. Uses expert knowledge of web technologies, including C++, Java, Java Script, HTML, CGI, XML, Perl, ASP, multimedia applications, database modeling tools and/or database interactions. Evaluates systems specifications for client area web site requirements and determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution. Provides leadership in researching and tracking new web technologies, developing service applications, and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to web-based systems. Oversees system quality assurance and consistency with installation and security policy and standards. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.

We are seeking a responsible person with excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem solving skills to work on a Java development team for an internal application. This person must be comfortable working closely with a team of business analysts, business proponents, and developers. This person will be required to work in our Minneapolis office and will take direction from the Technical Team Lead.

Skills:
Must have experience building Java applications. Required to have experience with Java 6 and J2EE and a minimum of 5 years of Java experience. Must have previous project experience with the following technologies: JDBC, Java Concurrency programming, XML, XML parsing with Java, Log4J, Ant, Java IO classes, Apache Axis2 Web Services, HTML, Servlets, and JSPs. Prefer experience with WebLogic 9.x and 10.x, Eclipse, ClearCase, and Spring.
