Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, energetic expert for the role of Architect & Technical Lead for our Salesforce.com initiatives.
The Technical Architect is responsible for working with business groups and technical teams to successfully design and manage solutions leveraging the full power of the Force.com platform and integration with existing systems.
This is a leadership role that will have responsibility for documenting requirements and specifications for custom components and interfaces, designing solutions in accordance to best practices, and leading technical teams through the build, test and deployment of the solution. The Technical Architect will also interact with business stakeholders to help correctly scope new development work.
The position is based out of our Chicago.
Qualifications
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience implementing enterprise class systems and 3+ years of experience working with the
Salesforce.com product. Work experience should include creating
custom user interfaces with VisualForce, developing custom business logic in APEX, writing test classes, and Candidates should possess excellent problem solving and communication skills.

• Saleforce.com certified consultant
• Salesforce.com certified advanced administrator
• Salesforce.com certified advanced developer
• Experience with the Salesforce.com web services API
• Demonstrated knowledge of XML, SQL, HTTP/HTTPS
• Experience with Enterprise Integration tools & processes (EAI)
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and
methodologies
• Proven ability to design and optimize business processes
and to integrate business processes across disparate systems
Programming Languages:
• APEX
• VisualForce
• Familiarity with Eclipse & github tools for working with the IDE
Desired Educational Background:
• Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering/ Computer
Science/ IT or, Business Degree such as Finance or Accounting
• MIS a plus
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• What business implementation experience does the Architect have?
• Looking for someone that doesn't overly customize a
technical solution to fit a current business process or business workflow.
• Ability to organize and lead client sessions that
involve non-technical resources that result in clear requirements and technical design.
• Compulsively organized and driven to bring order out of
uncertainty. Attention to detail is a must.
• Aggressive obstacle tackler. Must be able to proactively
see project obstacles and work actively to remove them.
