There are 2 Security Operation Engineer Roles- The main skillset they are looking for is the Web Application Firewall experience (waf)

 

Role: Security Operations Engineer (x3)

Duration: 1 year

Location: San Diego, CA

Rate: $50/hour on C2C Max

 

Responsibilities

Perform operational documented tasks for the Security Engineering Team

Implement and modify Web Application Firewall Rulesets

Handle customer requests to store secret information in virtual vaults

Harden a variety of services in newly created AWS Accounts

Triage security related network and application issues through log analysis

 

Familiarity with the following Vendor Technologies

Imperva

Akamai Kona

AWS

CyberArk

HashiCorp Vault

 

Preferred Experience and Skillsets

Demonstrate critical thinking for troubleshooting complex issues

Familiar with various coding languages such as Python and JavaScript

Experience in automating routine tasks through the access of APIs

Experience in public cloud services

Experience with system administration of Linux systems

Experience in supporting business critical services

Demonstrate a thoroughness in task execution

Technical background in security
