Skills Required and Job Description:
The SAP Security & Access Manager will be a member of the ERP Implementation project team.
The individual will utilize knowledge of SAP Access and Security models, financial processes, financial and internal controls as well as project management skills to work with various
ERP project tracks on the design, testing (including SOD/SOX compliance) and assignment of access Roles to Users.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to function independently, apply professional judgment, interface with all levels of management, and communicate complex access and security concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
The ERP program is managed at Corporate offices in Sunnyvale, with offices and team members around the globe.
The individual should have experience dealing with multi-national, enterprise level projects and should be able to balance conflicting demands of process efficiency against company-specific control and compliance objectives.
As the ERP program moves through implementation phases the nature of activities and project deliverables will vary. Some responsibilities for this position include:
Identification and evaluation of SOD risks generation by Access permissions.
Generation of SOD reports for Roles, Users and custom functions and authorization objects.
Advising project teams and process owners on changes needed to ensure
Access and Security designs are SOD compliant.
Recommendation and advice for Role and Compliance personnel regarding SOD Rules
Assist with process definition for provisioning requests (including emergency access process and authorization workflows)
Skills/Experience
Strong knowledge of security and access control theory and SAP GRC suite of applications
Understanding of enterprise authentication, provisioning and security concepts
Proven ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally to all levels of staff and management in a global project organization
High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with minimum supervision
8+ years experience in systems implementations and process improvement
projects with audit or accounting process-oriented
Experience working with systems access and security models in a high-tech environment
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or IT.
PMP or PMI Certification a plus |
