Long term contract opportunity
Seeking a Sr. Java Developer for our client in Reston VA.
Requirements:
At least 8+ years experience as a core Java 1.6 developer with strong front end development expertise.
Must have development experience with the following technologies and frameworks. Spring Framework, Struts, Hibernate, HTML 5, XHTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, JavaScript Libraries, jQuery, AJAX.
Familiar with Web Services: RESTful, SOAP related frameworks such as Apache Axis, Jersey etc.
Experience with XML and JSON: XSLT, DTD or Schema modeling, and DOM / XPath / SAX / JSON parsing, Xtreme etc is preferred.
Should have development experience working with application / web servers such as Weblogic, tomcat, build tools such as ANT, Maven, popular version control systems and bug tracking tools.
Should be familiar with popular design patterns and design principles.
Should be capable of independently design, discuss and implement a solution.
Should have the ability to adhere to complex design specifications during implementation.
