Job Title: Test Lead, Performance Testing

Location: Hyderabad (Preferred)/ Noida
Responsibilities:
 Performance Test Lead focused on delivering a high quality UI/API driven Software end product.
 Has broad understanding of the user experience, web services, APIs, functional, technical, and extensive focus on performance requirements, and how to plan and test for success against these requirements.
 Participates in gathering performance requirements and defining acceptance criteria
 Work in/with an Agile Development Team and organization to deliver quality products to the customer, with a focus on testing and quality assurance.
 In the process, actively contributes positively to product design, thought leadership and continuous improvement of the Team (s)he is a part of.
 Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
 Overall 9+ years in IT (Minimum of 6 years in Performance Testing with JMeter)
 Advanced professional role. Highly-skilled with extensive proficiency.
 Showcases positive attitude and passion towards learning.
 Demonstrated drive to get things done, leadership, accountability, commitment, enthusiasm, and work ethic.
 Worked as a lead and has actively mentored and supervised a team of junior executives.
 Strong writing skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages both for detailed analytical reports and executive summaries
 Excellent verbal communication including the ability to effectively communicate testing activities and findings.
Technical Expectations:
 It is expected that the person should be quite technical and be able to write code:
 Proven experience with developing performance testing frameworks is required; expertise on Apache JMeter is required/industry proven tools
 In-depth understanding of the theory behind Performance Testing along with good practical experience.
 Technically proficient programming background a plus (Selenium preferred)
 Experience in Agile development methodology.
 Good understanding on Network, Application and Database architecture
 Must be experienced in analyzing and reporting performance metrics
 Strong knowledge of user, process, and data flows across all systems.
 Desirables: JIRA knowledge is a plus and knowledge of healthcare domain is a plus.
Mandatory Pre-requisites
 Excellent analytical skills with an ADVANCED level proficiency in QA practice creating/maintaining performance test plans, creating test harnesses, Load scripts; executing scripts and reporting on performance metrics
 Must be experienced in performance testing web applications and business services
 Must be experienced in performance testing for REST and SOAP APIs using Apache JMeter/industry proven tools
 Must be experienced in performance monitoring and tuning at Application and Database layers.
 Good hands on experience on SQL commands.
